The BBC got in touch with King Bee with the requirement to design and animate a variety of famous chefs for a documentary for an upcoming show about the UK’s famous chefs including Gordon Ramsey, Nigela Lawson and Jamie Oliver.

The style was based on black and white newspaper cartoonist illustrations to create some animated inserts to break up the live action show with little warm animations that describe the chefs in a warm, instantly recognizable charming way.
